Xmas is such a exciting time for us all. Parties,heaps of Xmas treats and most of all family times. I wish you all merry Xmas and safe travel.

Veges to share

I took home a bag of Veges it had lettuce,spring onions,silverbeet and purple cauliflower my flat mates will help me eat these.awesome.

Hair done

Here I am getting my hair done. I don't usually agree to this so you can see I am abit unsure.

Surprise

I go a lot of places and I know a lot of people. Look at this lucky I caught up with marama at the community garden the other day. We had a good chat.

I love singing with my fiends at Arohanui.  My favourite song is YMCA.

Cinderella

Drama production time has been around again. They say my part was being an ugly sister I don't think so we just all had a really awesome time.

Trip to the warehouse

My job was to push the trolley as you can see I am so good at it even the photo is a bit blurry I must have been rushing. Keep me on here at arohanui.

😍 Fashion Show

I went to the fashion show in Te Puke with my friends from Arohanui.  I liked everybody in the beautiful dresses and the lovely handbags.  I had fun.

Balancing

I went to the warehouse to help buy the balance balls for our excercise sessions.

My glasses

This is my staff person from my house her name is Karen and we are off to get my new glasses tightened by viv.

The sun is out

Hooray the sun is out. It has been really raining the last couple of days. Here I am arriving back from craft cake.

Craft cafe

David, Tracey and I went to the baptist church in te puke for a craft morning. We made apple flowers, we hope to make these at the studio as well.

Finished product

After a lot of conversation at the sewing machine we have a special cover for sage and Amy to use.

Grease

Our production was grease for this term and my part was awesome as I was a pink lady. The music from grease is great for me to show my moves.

Cooking

We made pumpkin soup for lunch, it was nice to have it on a cold day. 

Planting Spring Bulbs

Our community garden is looking great! I spent the morning planting our spring bulbs... And having a frolicking among the leaves!

Pool Competition

Had a serious game of pool with Neralie today. I love this pool table at the studio!

Using the Sunshine☀️☀️☀️

The weather is still warm so I am enjoying my lunch outside while I still can!

Making Music

Today in art we are making shakers for our music sessions. We have used broken glass, seeds and buttons to make different noises in cardboard shapes. We covered them with paper mâché and we will need to paint them when they are dry.

You Are My Sunshine!

One of my IPP goals is to sew some Cusions for our studio. Yesterday we went to Spotlight in Tauranga and I chose some great yellow material. Today Sophia and I made the first cusion. I think it looks great. I hope to make some for the gallery to sell.

The Shop

This terms drama production was called "The Shop". I played the shop assistant. I love performing in front of a live audience!

Taking the Opportunity

On Wednesdays, I go to the op shop to lend a hand. I help hang all the new stock in the correct place in the store. It is work that I am thoroughly enjoying!

Sorting the Weeds from the Veges

This morning I spent some time at the community gardens, weeding and keeping the patches clean.

Mama Mia!

Today we had home made pizza for lunch! Everyone bought in $3.50 to put toward the cost of ingredients. We made the dough and I especially enjoyed kneading it. It grew and we rolled it out. We made four different types- Hawaiian, Plum and avocado, BBQ and chicken, ham and vege. 

I hope we can make pizza again soon!

Sign Singing

During music this week, we are learning to sing a song using sign language. The song is Stan Walkers "Take it Easy". It is a studio favourite and I am doing really well at picking up all the signs. 👉👎👌👊✊👈👉👇👆💪

Fishermans Luck!

Last week, my friends and I went fishing at Pilot Bay. It was a successful trip indeed! We reeled in 6 fish! How exciting😊 ! We shared fish n chips for lunch and even had enough money for an icecream.

Honest and responsible

I was honest and reponsible this morning. I went down to the police station this morning to hand in a mobile phone which was left at the bus stop outside of our studio. The lady asked me heaps of questions and we filled in a form. I hope that the owner will come in and claim their phone.
