Catching up with Asha

I always enjoy my weekly visits to asha, she is a great friend, asha was so happy and kept us amused with stories and jokes, I laughed and laughed!

Christmas is close

With Christmas fast approaching, the craft cafe have got into the spirit of things, we created these awesome lolly Christmas trees! How yum do these look?! If you are lucky, I might share!

Bush walk

We went for a lovely bush walk at otanewainuku, we saw beautiful big trees, and listened to lots of birds singing, the air was so fresh and clean, and it was quiet. On the drive up we saw sheep, cows and horses as we passed the farms.

Maintaining our plot

We must maintain our plot at the community garden by weeding, watering and getting rid of snails and slugs we find, it's great learning about the gardening processes and being out in the fresh air, here I am just getting some leaves out of the way for the lettuces to grow through.
