Santa Visit

 Santa Claus came to visit me! I was so excited and received my funky present. Merry Christmas everyone!

Noodle Hockey and Drama Break up

We played noodle hockey and had so much fun! 

To finish up the year, we celebrated with treats at drama. I had marshmallows, chips, soda drinks and apples. Thank you Kim! 

 

Circability

I went to Memorial Park in Tauranga to do Circability. It was an epic day of learning and refreshing circus tricks. I had so much fun!

 

Arts and Crafts session

I’ve been working on my arts and crafts. Making Christmas cards for the end of year. 

 

Spoons on the run!

At Kmart we got some spoons for the centre. Out spoons have mysteriously ran away so we had to get more. 
 

Pine Cone Galore

 I brushed and washed some pine cones that will be used for Christmas ornaments. 

Goldfields Railway

I went on the GoldFields Railway trains from Waihi to Waikino train. What an amazing experience it was for us! 

 

Watercressing!

I went to Pongakawa to gather watercress. It was an awesome experience. 

 

Drama Production

 We’ve been getting ready got Christmas drama production for the end of the year. This term I’ll be the Dragon. 

Warmer Weather Coming!

 We went to Bunnings Warehouse in Mt Maunganui to buy us a new and flash fan for the upcoming warmer weather. 

Tauranga Strand Visit

I visited the Tauranga Strand and saw heaps of Kiwis displayed around the strand.

I even admired the beautiful painted wings. 

 

Wild Wild West

 We had our annual concert today “Wild Wild West” and it was Epic! 

Great vibes and awesome performances. I danced to Cotton Eye Jo and it was so freakin cool. 

Drama Rehearsal

 Here’s me dancing with my friend Katiana from Wilrose. We’re rehearsing for our drama production next week. 

Abracadabra!

 I’m the Witch in drama and I believe I’m the best Witch there is! 

2 more weeks until drama production and I’m super excited to perform for all our friends and family. 

Drama Llama

Here’s me at drama. I’m starring as the Witch in the play. We’re getting prepped for our end of term production. 

 

Cancer Society

To support Cancer Society I went on a fundraising walk around the community. People bought daffodils and donated money. It was a beautiful day and met so many lovely people.

I went to the library and chose out some books to read back at the centre. Always look forward to reading new stories.

Ping Pong and Painting

Here’s me playing beer pong (empty cups) filled with sweet treats. I get competitive when it comes to indoor sports. 

 

At Abilities Unleashed here’s me in painting session. All about learning to utilise my motor skills and it was an enjoyable experience. 

Papamoa Beach

Ella’s Dancing show

 We had the beautiful Ella visit us today. She put on an amazing show and expressed her talent through dance so elegantly. 

Animates Visit

 

Here’s me at Animates in the Mt. We went there to get fish food however, noticed it was more expensive than at the supermarket. So browsed through all the cool items for animals and looked at the fish in the aquarium. 

Reno sanding down

In Reno group I sand down our new drawers that are getting revamped. 

It got quite dusty after awhile but it was really fun to do. 

 

Bayfair and Maketu

Here’s me on the bus to Bayfair. It was a lovely ride and we window shopped around the mall looking at sales. 

Then in the afternoon we went for a hikoi around Maketu Beach. 

 

Tauranga adventure

I visited Pyes Pa to play at the waterpark. We then stopped by Tauranga Crossing. What a beautiful day to be exploring Tauranga.

 

Cafe date and Dancing star

I went to A4 bakery to have morning tea with my friends. I had a hot chocolate and sweet treat. 

At Idance I practised some of our dances that we’ve been doing during the year. I love having a great wiggle! 

 

Mount Pools

 I went to Mount pools with my friends. We first went into the hot pools before cooling down in the main pools. We got to relaxin the pool and also do some laps. Was awesome!

 

Beach goer!

For walking we went to Maketu beach. I really enjoyed walking along the beach line and on the sand. Was a bit challenging walking on the sand but happy with myself for doing it. 

 

Weaving and Reno

In culture group, we miss some weaving. Here’s me with my art work that i worked on with my friend Kate-Lyn. 

In Reno group we worked in our project. Here’s me using the bracing vice. 

 

Life skills and Paper Mache piece

In life skills and communication group we learned how to properly wash our hands, brush our teeth and brush our hair. 

In fabric class we have begun doing paper mache for music and sensory. We have begun making some shakers. 

 

Peoples First

Drum away & Swimming

Here’s me in music session utilising the African drums to add to our instrumental session. 

I went to Baywave for an awesome swim. I loved gliding through the water and exercising.
