Birthday week & Pukeko Walk

I celebrated my birthday with my friends with a delicious banana cake. I was so excited when everyone sang the birthday song. 

 

We went for a nice walk around Wairakei in Papamoa. Saw heaps of Pukeko’s pottering around the pond. 

People’s First

I went to Peoples First and learned about advocating for myself. I always enjoy going to Peoples First meeting monthly.

 

Drama Finale

To end the drama term we had a big dance with my friends. It was super fun because I love to dance. 

 

Community Activity

I went Ten Pin bowling with my friends. We played in 2 teams and my team did very well. 

I participated in the Drama Play about a nightclub getting busted down because developers wanted to rebuild a new building. I played one of the staff working at the bar. I did rather well with my script and enjoyed it very much.

 

Community Hikoi

 

I went for a lovely walk around the Te Puke Community with my friends. It was nice walking past all the local stores and greeting some of the people in town. 

Ten Pin Bowling

 I went to Ten Pin bowling with my friends. We had such a blast and can’t wait to go back. 

Hands on week

I worked on a project in Reno group. We hammered some nails on a piece of wood and made patterns using yarn.

I always get excited for ten pin every Monday. We played in 2 teams, and my team WON!
